Caricatures . . . My Inner People

All my life growing up I heard, “You have a rotten attitude!” and, “It’s not what you say, it’s how you say it!” But the one who shouted it the loudest taught me this whole rotten attitude thing. I’m better now . . . I’m only half as sarcastic as I used to be.

See? I can be nice.

But look out if I forget to take my meds!

Kitty is bubbly and happy, never has a rotten attitude and always pleasant to be around. Of course, although it’s felt like it, I don’t really have other people living in me. But if I did, I’d like Kitty to be one of them.

Margaret is shy and timid, always fearful of making a mistake and what other people think. I’ve really had to encourage her to come out of her shell.

Sally Mae is quite sassy. She’s fearless about speaking her mind. Sometimes it gets her in trouble, but she speaks it just the same.

Sandi’s fought many bloody inner battles throughout her life trying to overcome the enemy within. Sometimes she felt like giving up. But through God’s grace and the people He sent to love and understand her, she has  overcome. Not to the point of stopping where she is but having the strength to continue moving forward.

I hope you enjoyed my people. I’m sure there’s many more I can conjure up, but these are all I have for now. Thanks for stopping by and for liking and commenting on my post.
