Caricatures . . . The Sunny Side of Old Age

The Golden Years ain’t what they’re cracked up to be. Especially when you lose your job and have to make mortgage and car payments, pay medical bills and everything else in between on a skimpy Social Security check.

I get angry and depressed, but I haven’t slammed any doors, and my husband hasn’t rammed his fist through the wall, so I guess we’re good.

But it’s tough. So to keep me from screaming my head off and biting my nails to the quick, I drink coffee all day and sit at the computer creating happy stuff.

So, If you’re feeling as though life has done a number on you, I hope my people put a little smile on your face.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your likes and comments.

Having battled depression for most of my life, music, writing, and digital design are tremendous outlets for me. I hope you enjoy your visit and that you'll come back again.
