From Twigs to Abstract Stick Figures

So, someone posted a bunch of twigs on Facebook. They looked cold. So, I put clothes on them.

Worry Causes Wrinkles and Hair Between Your Toes . . . Create Instead

Today is the day. Not for a trip to the beach. Not for a two-month cruise. Not even for a trip to the zoo. It’s colonoscopy day.

YAY!

By the way, my new toilet works great!

As you know by now, I love to create.
I used to draw as a kid, but I can’t draw a straight line anymore. But I don’t let that stop me from doing what I can do using great little helpers like PaintShop pro. You can do anything you want if you want to bad enough.

I enjoy turning photos into art, like I did with these two below using pictures I took of the natural area in our front yard.

I love anything old and beat up.
I take that after my dad who restored antiques for people from around the Delaware, Pennsylvania area. He’d search for weeks looking for the exact age and grain and type of wood to repair the piece we was working on. He was truly an artist.

And I love creating caricatures from photos

I love creating fantasy. I used several different photos and picture tubes to create the fantasy scene below.

Spring is almost here!

Gotta go now. Time for me to visit the butt doctor.

Photos: From Hot Mess to Abstract Art

Having BPD (borderline personality disorder), I should avoid stress like the plague. But, instead, I create more stress. Like this house renovation thing. I’ve never been so angry and frustrated and cried so much in my life. But, in spite of my life-long-ugly monkey on my back, I’ve learned to cope. I’ve learned to laugh at myself and to see the funny side of my many painful, not so funny anxiety disorders.

That’s why I create. It makes me happy. And when I’m happy, my dogs are happy. My husband is happy. My whole family is happy.

My before and after photos are my interpretation of the mess we’ve created . The before represents the stress. The after represents the calm.

From Photos to Digital Art: My Favorite Things

As many of you know, my husband and I have been giving our house a major face lift since last March, 2019. Yep! Been taking up carpet, putting down vinyl plank flooring, painting walls and furniture, stripping and refinishing old furniture and creating mess after mess. The only thing keeping me sane is creating art.

I enjoy taking photos of my favorite things around the house and turning them into art.

The program that I use is PaintShop pro 2019.
